Family rooms serve as an integral part of any home. Kanika Design created a transitional interior that blended traditional and classic modern styles to make a comfy and durable space for the whole family.
Family rooms bring families together to connect and bond with one another. This family preferred a less flashy and bold interior, so we utilized a lot of muted, restful, and soothing colors to bring about a more relaxing feel. Although neutral colors were used for the interior we integrated pops of color through decor, pillows, and rugs without disrupting the tranquility of the room. We meshed traditional and modern interior design styles using comfortable elements. A stylized modern sofa and wooden coffee table were added to place feet on while watching TV or simply place items on as needed. Overall it served as a warm and cozy space for the family to spend lots of time together.
